helpful tips to county agents wanting to create effective PowerPoint presentations for use with their SNAP-Ed audiences.
Challenge, Resolution, & Future Implications
The biggest challenge during this project was creating a presentation that followed the best practices of an effective PowerPoint while demonstrating some of the worst practices for the viewer. In an effort to learn how to create a more effective PowerPoint, I studied the lesson resources and looked at a few articles such as
7 Tips for Designing and Delivering PowerPoint Presentations and
Creating an Instructional PowerPoint. During my research, I learned that PowerPoint presentations have a potential impact on its learner so great that its use has been studied and best practices have been determined. In the future, I will use what I learned during this project to create more effective PowerPoints for our agents.
